Our history

Over 28 years ago, Grzegorz and Róża Polak founded the POL-MAK Home Pasta Factory with the intention of producing and distributing pasta in the Polish market. It was initially a modest initiative, but thanks to the perseverance of the founders, the company began to gradually expand, becoming a recognized brand in the domestic market. 

The involvement of the married couple in the development of the enterprise and their focus on high-quality products were the foundation of the company's success during its first decade of existence. During this period, the founders operated the business together with their son, Krystian. In 2005, their son Dominik joined the family business, initially familiarizing himself with the company's strategy and later taking the initiative in its development himself.

After over 16 years of dedication, Dominik has assumed the position of CEO of POL-MAK S.A. Home Pasta Factory. The succession of power, lasting many years, was a result of his longstanding commitment. Under his leadership, the company has undergone a transformation from a local supplier to a nationwide brand. 

Securing EU funding for investment purposes, introducing innovations such as Unevenly Chopped Pasta or Low Glycemic Index pasta are just a few examples of initiatives that have propelled the company forward.

We haven't forgotten about the local tradition.

As consumer needs and expectations continue to grow, we haven't forgotten where our products come from. In 2023, the Lublin artist, Roman Prószyński, created a dedicated design that now adorns the packaging of Polmak pasta.

In this way, we not only demonstrate our attachment to the region from which WMD Pol-Mak originates but also contribute to the promotion of Lublin culture and support for local artists.

POL-MAK S.A. has transformed from a local business into a recognizable brand available not only in Poland but also abroad, becoming a significant player in the food industry. Consistently, it follows the path, adjusting its direction to market changes and current trends. POL-MAK's mission remains unchanged: to deliver high-quality products to consumers not only in Poland but also worldwide.
