Penne with Apple sauce and red currant

Ingredients

  • 200g Penne Tak, jak lubię
  • 5 apples
  • sugar
  • cinnammon
  • 2 handfuls red currant
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • Optional: cloves
  • 3 tablespoons cream

Preparation:

1. Peel the apples, remove the cores, and cut them into small cubes. Simmer them over low heat with ¼ cup of water and season to taste with sugar and cinnamon. You can also add a few cloves (remember to remove them before serving). Add a handful of red currants to the resulting sauce and stir occasionally.

2. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions.

3. Pour the cooked pasta on plates drizzled with browned butter from the pan, then top with the prepared applesauce. Decorate the dish with thin slices of apple and currants.

4. You can add a spoonful of sweet or sour cream on top - Enjoy your meal!
